    I love goats too @Pat E (hello 😊)
I used to have a dairy herd of Golden and British Guernseys ... lovely gentle creatures ... not escape artists ... and really high quality milkĀ

We had Angoras, Dove. I’ve still got mohair to spin when I get the energy.😃

I don’t know a lot about angoras @Pat E other than their appearance ... what’s their temperament like? Ā Are they an ā€˜escapee’ type or more docile?Ā

We didn’t have trouble with them escaping, however we did build very good fences, if I do say so myself.😊. They were lovely animals to have.Ā

Morning all/afties Pat. Are you nice and cosy? You could snuggle up with a goat I suppose if you still have a spare one...
Daughter made some little fairy cakes for me yesterday, so I'd better get a walk in to work them offĀ  :D
My pooter keeps turning off, so if I disappear, you'll know why. It did it last night, so I gave up. The cable needs replaced, but I'm struggling to get one the right size. Will take another look while it's cold and wet outside.Ā
Paddock's looking good @Obelixx. It'll be nice once the coos are inĀ  :)
Isn't that situation with the family of the boy killed on the motorbike, just beyond hideous now? Poor souls. What on earth is that orange excuse for a man thinking?
    I need more tea.Ā

@Fairygirl I’m just wondering what the orange man’s reaction would be if a British tourist in the US was driving on the wrong side of the road and killed his teenage son ... do you think he’d say ā€œit happensā€? I imagine the Brit would be locked up so fast our heads would spin!!!

Given their reaction to the British family who accidentally crossed over from Canada.........

It breaks my heart @Dovefromabove. The whole thing is a total sh*tfest. The woman seems to be changing her story and saying the lad was still alive and she comforted him until another motorist came along. So where is that motorist? The police told her to go, the 'people' at the base told her to go, yada, yada, yada. Where are her morals? Not to mention the fact that a lawyer right at the start said they didn't have immunity anyway, as he wasn't in that sort of job, so it would have been illegal to leave to start with. Who, and what, can you believe?Ā  :(

Well, not Trump for a start 😔

Friends who were in the USAF and stationed over here said they were advised not to bring their cars over but to buy and drive UK cars over here as it would help remind them to drive on the left.Ā

When we used to drive in Europe I used to put a notice on the dashboard so that every time we got in the car the driver was reminded to drive on the right. It’s common sense not to be casual about such things.Ā

They discussed it at the time on the radio, and a bloke called in - he lives in the area - and he said you saw them driving on the wrong side all the time. It was probably only a matter of time before something serious happened.Ā
Tango boy contradicted himself in the same sentence. I'm not saying I've done it, but I have, or words to that effect. Gawd help us.Ā  :/
