Afternoon all,  I've been gardening this morning, cutting back and deadheading.  Feeling tired now so not sure I'll manage to tidy up out there, it might have to wait for the next free day.  We have sky, every year I renegotiate and get lots off the monthly payment so it's not too bad.  We also have netflix and prime (we piggy back on Firstborn's subscription so it doesn't cost us anything.  I save loads on postage with prime and also get lots of free kindle books.  Don't have an Alexa, Firstborn does.

  • We still have a VHS machine though we haven't used it in a while. Our DVD machine has a hard drive that we record to and can transfer to disc if we want to keep anything long term.
Quite a nice day here until about 1/2 hour ago when a heavy shower spoiled things.

Got home half an hour ago. I've just spent ten hours over two days sitting in a car, now very achy.   Funeral ok apart from awful  (to my mind) music choices.
A very interesting character by all accounts. On the sustainable and recyclable projects 40 odd years ago - used to take her goats for a walk round Harrow!
Sunshine all the way home apart from the last 5 miles when it absolutely poured! Not good for unloading.

Anyone who takes their goats for walks is my sort of person. Put your feet up @Lizzie27 🍷

We lived in Harrow for 10 years before moving to Belgium 28 years ago.   Never met a woman with a goat or heard tell of her but she sounds interesting.

Do tell - what were the music choices?

Hi all. We’re home from  Canberra. Tired now but the Oncologist is happy with Hubby’s progress.  Time for a cuppa and a relax. 😊
