    Good morning all and
hello to @Pat E 😊 ☕️ Hope you got some good quality sleep @Yviestevie .

It’s damp and overcast here ... OH is working over the weekend ... I shall be making a steak and kidney pie and possibly a blackberry and apple cake this morning, and this afternoon I shall finish sewing up the last knitting project and get on with the next one.

Morning Yviestevie and Dove.  Starting dinner cooking at the mo. Chicken wings and chips. I’ll also put my favourite vegs in the microwave.  Hubby’s appetite is gradually complete ng back. 😃

Morning all - littlest chicklet chose today to go to the Blue Mountains @Pat E .......all she could see was mist and fog 🙄.

We’re heading off to London Town - matinee of the Glums, then dinner just off Regents Street.  See you later folks 👋🏻👋🏻

“Oh Eth ... that is a Norwegian Blue” ... what a surreal sketch that would make 🤣

Shame about that Chicky. I hope she gets another chance. The scenery is lovely there.

Good morning / good evening Pat.
Just deciding what to do on my first free Saturday for weeks. Think my sister and I will head for lunch and maybe a garden centre.
    Have a lovely weekend all.

Good morning all - hello @Pat E.  Great news about Hubby's appetite  :)

Just popping in briefly before batting on with the pre-moving jobs.  I'm gradually surfacing from the shingles; got 2 more hospital appointments next week, but hoping I'll then be signed off.

I don't think I was around to say congrats to @AuntyRach - great news!  And "Hi!" to @Dordogne Damsel too - so glad things are looking up for you.

Bit of good news, already shared on the "reasons to be cheerful" thread, but repeated here for those who need cheering up:  it starts with a leaky roof - we had the whole of the north side of our roof re-laid last year, by a local roofer who's really hard to get hold of because he's an expert in stone slate roofing.  A few weeks ago we found that during heavy rain, wet was running down the chimney breast in the attic bedroom.  A week ago the roofer came, squeezed through the Velux onto the roof and identified the problem.  Yesterday he came back with his tools and his young helper and fixed it.  He reckoned it was something he should have noticed when he replaced the roof, even though it originated on the neighbour's side, and charged us...  nothing.   :o   :)   <3
