I went to homebase yesterday and they had various 2 ltr perennials for £1. Some were very dry so you take a chance they are still alive but for a pound it's not much of a gamble.

Good morning @punkdoc ... happy shopping 🛒 Re the Grenfell Enquiry ... l think it’s a shame that the first part of the enquiry is being pulled over and dissected before the second part had been held and conclusions drawn. Did you hear the R4 discussion this morning between one of the firemen there on the night and a chap who lost a disabled family member because he did as he was told and stayed out waiting for rescue that never came. Very moving.
And speaking of R4 this morning, very interesting item on David Nott and a young Syrian doctor.

It's been raining so I'm glad I did the mowing yesterday. Had planned to clear leaves with the leaf sucking thing but at the moment it's too wet. But there is ironing and housework to do.
