Morning .....first frost of the season here 🥶❄️ Had forgotten how pretty it is when the world turns white 💙

Planning on a bit more gardening today (just because I can - yay 🎉) ... need to tackle a weedy patch and plant the last of this season’s bulbs.  Will need to let it thaw a bit first 😳

First exercise class at the new (to me) gym later on .....will see how I get on.

Have a good day folks ......hope the treadmill thing went ok for @Pat E

    I love it when it's crispy @chicky :)
Hope you can get the bulbs in.
That was a relief for you @Pat E, although did they get it wrong completely about the treadmill, or will that be at a later date?

Great news @Pat E  ... it was very cosy in your handbag but we weren’t really needed were we 😆

Just went out to de-frost the car so I can take her for her MOT in a bit ... the windscreen is frozen on the inside ... the front of this house and garden is in a real frost pocket 🙄

Good morning everyone - it's a frosty one here.  Our 'breakfast room' is usually our bedroom. We take turns to make a pot of tea, do bowls of cereals and take a tray back to bed where we slowly wake up and chat to each other. We're both not 'morning' people.  We've always done this since we were married, even when we both worked. It's a very civilised and peaceful way to start the day.

Funny how different we are @Lizzie27. The thought of crumbs in the bed turns my stomach  :D
Cup of tea would be the most I could manage, but once I get up to make it, I couldn't go back to bed.
@Dovefromabove- how disorganised of you not to have put a cover on the car last night  ;)

Good morning everyone.  Good evening @Pat E.

Grey and dull here and cool but nowhere near cold and frosty.  As usual, the rain is passing by to the north and south today.   Expect @Busy-Lizzie will be getting some.

OH is malingering in bed with his lurgy so I've taken him his juice and coffee.   No gardening for me today as I have patch this pm and need to get ready for that.   Bulbs and shrubs and roses and red cabbage plugs to plant over the next few days tho so fun to be had.

Hope the MOT goes well @Dovefromabove.   I've seen dried mealworms here @Fairygirl and thought they looked unappetising even for birds so I hope they do better soaked.   Have fun @Chicky.

Hi @Obelixx -yes they seem to be more palatable when rehydrated. I suppose it makes sense.
I take it your lurgy's passed- is hubby milking it now?  ;)

Bits of lurgy lingering still but feeling mostly hooman again thanks.  OH is at the "wiped out" stage which will last another day and then he should be fine too.

I can probably get live mealworms in the fishing section of the bigger SM we use and one or two GCs but I think I'll try the dried ones first.  The birds do love the fat blocks with mealworms.
