    Morning all.
Couldn't cope with " Stand up to cancer" on channel 4, so didn't watch gogglebox or last leg. In bed at 9pm
The gogglebox stand up to cancer was fantastic apart from the 2 cancer stories, cannot you forward passed those. The one lad found a lump only small I've never seen a story like it. It was awful 😢😢 good morning anyway ☺

    Thanks again folks!
Not sure about being brave... a mixture of (mostly) excitement with a bit of apprehension thrown in, I think.   :)
Even the cat finds unpacking tiring...

You’ve been overworking that poor cat 😂

My washing got re-rinsed. We had a sudden bout of heavy rain mixed in with the wind.
3 mils. so, it will spend the night on the line. 😡

Oh dear @Pat E ... but at least it’s been rinsed with soft rainwater ... but I suppose all your washing is rinsed with soft rainwater ? 🌧  your water doesn’t come from boreholes does it?

@Lizzie27 ... I was thinking about making  a pear and ginger upside down cake ... but I forgot to get any crystallised ginger ... I might make a pear and almond cake ... I’ve got ground almonds ...

Hope @Obelixx is feeling better today 🤧

Morning all/afties Pat. All in the timing with the washing, isn't it!
Glad you're getting a bit of help with the unpacking @Liriodendron. Looking forward to pix of your outdoor spaces - near and far  :)
I don't watch those programmes either. I was asleep by then anyway.
Another chilly night, but frost just avoided by the skin of the pigeon's teeth. Hope you aren't being washed away @Hostafan1. We've had more than our fair share in the last month or two, so it's nice to get a wee dry spell.
Good way to use the almonds - pears are lovely with them. All too easy to eat though...
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Not a chance of frost here @Fairygirl ... a very mild night .., however they’re promising us a cooler spell next week 🥶
