Morning Dove - is it wet with you, or are you managing to miss it?
Glad you got another hour. I didn't manage it yesterday, but that's the way of it.  ;)

Hope you aren't being washed away @Hostafan1. We've had more than our fair share in the last month or two, so it's nice to get a wee dry spell.

Hiya ,  not chance of us being washed away, we're on top of a hill , however I will don my sexy yellow hi viz Goretex and go inspect the land drains to make sure they're all clear.

Are we getting a pic of said 'sexy hi viz jacket' @Hostafan1?   :D
We're on  a hill too, so always fine here. Last house, we were part way up the hill, and the spring always went into overdrive on a normal rainy day, never mind a heavy rainy one, and flooded down the bottom on the corner.
Haven't seen @raisingirl lately - hope she hasn't been flooded. Not as if she can phone for help either  unless BT have done their job.  :/

@Fairygirl  If we get another ice age Hosta’s place will be a perfect ‘nursery’ 😜 ski slope (about my ability level) with an ice rink at the bottom.

We’ve not got rain but it is damp.

    Good morning all.
You’re right, Dove, all our house water is from rain caught in our gutters. The bore water doesn’t get near our internal water pipes, including the hot water unit. The bore water is for garden use only. 😄
It’s now almost cloud free and the wind has dropped.  Such a terrible day here.

    Hope ‘they’ve’ not disconnected @raisingirl’s broadband 😦

Morning all - on a slope here too - but will be more like a black run come the ice age ⛷⛷⛷

Wet and wild weather - we’re promised a brief respite tomorrow 🤞🏻

Builder coming round in a few minutes to finalise details on the greenhouse base.  Hope to break ground very soon 🔨

Once you have your greenhouse - the rain won't matter @chicky :)
