Same here Obe, mine’s quite emotional as well.
kittens been fed, Ā I’ve out the food nearer to the house, went out there and he didn’t run away, hopefully coax him soon. I just feel sorry for him out in this dreadful weather.Ā

Thanks for all the cooking tips ladies. OH loves crumble and we've lots of apples to do something with so that's no problem. It's absolutely tipping down here. Son & Grandson tore into Bath early this morning to watch the Rugby on a big screen and are estactic that we won, plus Bath won their match last night as well, so two happy lads! Now they've gone to Bristol to meet up with my DIL & granddaughter for a lunch and watch The Lion King. Meanwhile I've got the new duvet set in the wash and new curtains to iron and put up for GD's surprise before they all get back for dinner.Ā

If it's new, why are you washing it?

    Good luck with that @Lyn

    ENGLAND.
    What a game!
We had an adventurous night, out for dinner with friends, coming back the roads were terrible, flooding got so bad, we had to walk the last half mile, through knee deep water.
Needless to say the garden is now under water, and it is still peeing it down.

Oh 'eck @punkdoc ... what a great excuse for putting your feet up and resting. ;)

I won't be baking cakes today ... my oven knob has jammed ... can't turn it on or offĀ  ... have had to switch it off at the mains.Ā  I've put a notice on the local Next Door page to see if anyone knows someone who can fix it for me.Ā  I'd better clear up the kitchen and peel some potatoes ... no chance of oven chips tonight ... Had a little breakthrough, I opened the door and talked to him, he didn’t run away and talked back to me. OH is eager to put the rabbit hutch out there for him, but he’ll never come in then and the hutch is not waterproof.Ā

I always wash new duvet sets, @Obelixx, it usually says to do so on the packet and some people are allergic to the dressing, or whatever, on new sheets.

Lovely day here, washing is on the line and I've mucked out the field shelter. Gardening this afternoon.

Not sure who mentioned them, but Honey Badgers are amazing. I have seen them a couple of times whilst in Botswana. Apparently they are so ferocious, that they are ignored by the big predators.

Great result for you @punkdoc. I wonder if @AuntyRach is getting nervous for tomorrow now!
My daughter always likes things washed first too, although it's mainly clothing - for obvious reasons. I'm past caring nowĀ  :D
I hung washing out and now there's a load of black clouds. What's that about?
At least the sun's still out, so a bit of lunch and get to it I think.
This was the view of the sky earlier this morning out the kitchen window. Completely clear out the front windows though. You can just see the plane trail in the distance too.Ā

The Arrochar hills are shrouded, but I think the next couple of days are to be clearer, so I might get a wee hill. Any longer and the thigh burning will be...difficultĀ  ;)

Not very good picture of Honey Badger, but they are quite elusive.
