Yes Happy Birthday Fairy.Dove, I have also just made a dozen sausage rolls, and a chocolate cake. I make cakes for the old man to take to work every week. The sausage rolls, because the ones in the shops contain about 20 ingredients, I doubt are any good for you, the pastry is pale and the meat still looks pink, yuK, this is from Hubby I dont eat meat
I once made proper sausage rolls with puff pastry and full meat pork and herb sausages, skinned first, for a bunch of dance colleagues and had them drooling. Like the French, they think a sausage roll involves a sausage in a chunk of baguette. Not the same.
I made toasted cashew nut and apricot oatmeal cookies this morning to give to farmer Luc. He's done a lovely job on our paddock. Next job is to get the hedgerow trimmed and fix the fence between us and it and then he'll put some cows in. It looks rather large now.....
Meanwhile, Sanko Kaku has been planted and watered in and left to settle overnight before I plant a couple more smaller acers and think about where the others can go.

Back from visit to dental hygienist, who was pleased with me 😀 😇
I also renewed my driving licence photo thingummy, bought a yoghurt and soft cheese maker, a new lipstick and some other bits and bobs . Then I bought the constituents for a supper of salady bits and bobs and nibbly things to go in baguettes and sat in a cafe with a coffee and people-watched until my appointment time.
I feel exhausted 😂

I decided to go out and cheer myself up so bought a couple of tops and a pair of leggings. Then went into the wool shop and bought a pattern and some wool to knit the boys a hoodie each. It's a cable pattern and as I haven't knitted a cable jumper in about 20 years it should be a bit of a challenge. Just about to cast on, have no idea how long it will take me.
@Yviestevie 😊 enjoy the cable patterns. I’ve knitted a couple this year and although I’d not knitted a cable jumper in over 40 years I was surprised at how much I enjoyed doing it. 🧶
