Night night Dove, I'm sorry about your friend.

No energy today, didn't finish the HW. Bought too much food and daughter rang to say her OH isn't coming tomorrow. He has to see the plumber who is about to do their new bathroom.

Morning all/afties Pat if you're popping in.
Sorry about your friend @Dovefromabove. As Hostie says - now that we're over 27, these things become more common. He sounds a good 'un though  :)
@AuntyRach - people have no sense when driving. It's the ones in fog that go by at 90 that I really don't understand.  :/
Hissing down here, so I'll have to wait and see if it dries up to get a walk and see if there's anything I can do outdoors. Ground's so saturated, it'll be bits and pieces behind the shed mainly - or in the shed.
I meant to thank you for that info about your acers @Obelixx. The ones nearby all look terrific just now, and fingers crossed - there won't be too much wild weather so that we can all enjoy the foliage. If it doesn't stop raining - perhaps I could have a trip to the nursery....

Thanks @Fairygirl ... he really was one of those exceptional people who make the world a better place. I’ve never heard him say anything negative about anyone ... much loved by many folk across the country.
