That would have been perfect temps for me @Hostafan1. I was removing my apple trees, and fortunately they were quite easy, and one was in the shadier bit, but it would have been easier on Saturday as it was cloudier, and much more pleasant for grafting.
All change here for tomorrow though, so it'll be much better for lifting and planting stuff. Enjoy your tea @Lyn :)
    I'm off....catch you all later

My last flowering agapanthus - I think it's 'Castle of Mey' - is hitting it's stride now.  :) Hot here yesterday and the sun's out again. OH is 'building a gap' (he objects to me calling it 'demolishing the house wall'), which will keep him happy, so I should hopefully have a nice peaceful gardening day  B)

It's cooler at the mo cos there's a bit of cloud but it's set to get to 34C later and, apparently, 45 top soil temps.   Planning to plant some cabbage seedlings this pm so will have to water first and after or they'll fry.  Hoping to get some weeding done too after surreptitious watering of the sunny bed.

Hope you get your hill @Fairygirl but won't it be a bit crowded with the English?

Lovely pic @punkdoc.   I had a fab few minutes earlier watching dozens of swifts and swallows swooping round our pond this morning.  Haven't seen any for days so thought they'd gone.  No idea where they've been hiding.

I'm off to look at the garden gallery if it will load........
