Hello Punkdoc and Fairy. Hope you’ve nodded off now.
ive been for a little walk outside to try to get some steps on my watch 🄺, but I’m only up to 2000, so I’ll need to try a bit harder tomorrow. We might, just might, get some rain.Ā

Hi Pat. Nice sky - but that ground is seriously parched looking. Hope you get some rain - looks like you desperately need some.Ā  :/

Our grass is all dewy and damp. I love this time of yearĀ  :)

Yes Fairy. I feel very sorry for the farmers trying to keep sheep alive. They are predicting another dry summer, so goodness knows what they’ll do.Ā

    Good morning all 😊 Ā ā˜•ļøĀ

Sunrise is absolutely the best time of the day @punkdoc 😊

Today I have to get the car to the garage for 9am
to have some bits fixed and an oil change before we head for Cornwall mid September ... I’ll pick the car up tomorrow so we’ll only have our bikes ... and it’s too hot to cycle far ... I think sitting in the shade with a book is on the cards again this afternoon ...

It's a hard life Dove, but someone has to do itĀ  ;)
Hope the car is fine. Mine is due it's first MOT, so I'll get it booked in soon. They can take out that stupid light that comes on when a car is overtaking. It's already been fixed, and is now behaving like an indicator. Why do they think we need these things?Ā  :/

They checked the car over last week and found a couple of trackrod type thingummies that need replacing ... apart from that it’s just the usual consumables. MOT not due til mid Nov so I thought I’d get this stuff done before Cornwall ... especially since our ā€˜adventure’ on the hard shoulder of the M25 last month šŸ™„Ā

Yes - you don't want a repeat of that, DoveĀ  :/
I've been faffing with my pix, so I found a sky one, since Pat's done one of hersĀ  :)

Some of Cairngorm's north corries, Loch Morlich on the right, and Aviemore is down there too, on it's leftĀ  Ā :)

Morning chaps. No dewy sunrise here. It's been raining hard since about 4.30am. Just a distant few rumbles of thunder so far

    Morning all.Ā
We've had no rain on this side of the county @raisingirl.
Big commotion of magpies , over 10 of them, so I went over and they flew off . There's a dead sparrowhawk on the grass!! Would they have killed it, or are they just freaking out because, well, it's a sparrowhawk?Ā

I saw on the forecast earlier that there was some rain round your way @raisingirl.
We've got it for tonight/tomorrow again, so I'll make the most of today's dry stuff. Just getting into double figures now, so it'll be good grafting weather.
