Interesting discovery this evening ... because their eyes are at the top/sides of their heads, you can steer a frog using the same techniques as herding sheep ... ie standing behind them and moving slowly forward, sticking out your left arm to turn them right and your right arm to steer them left.

If you ever have to encourage a frog to leave your sitting room, cross the floor, then cross the dining area and leave by the back door without going under either the bookcase to its  left or the sideboard on its right, you might be glad you know that 😊 😂 🐸
    Does it work with grasshoppers?

You’ll have to let us know 😂

    Good morning all 😊 ☕️
Looking forward to my shower this morning ... I’ve treated myself to my favourite L’occitane Lemon Verbena shower gel 🛁

I can't find it. I just hear it every now and again.

A friend had one of those chirping in her flat for months... it eventually turned out that a smoke alarm fitted by a previous resident had been boxed in during an alteration in the stairwell ... it’d been driving her mad 🤯

Ooooo - my favourite bubble bath flavour @Dovefromabove 🍋🍋🍋

Love Wells @Busy-Lizzie .....did you see the beach huts?  So colourful and quaint 💜💙💛💚

Slept with the windows wide open (🥵) so we heard the rain ☔️ that came through about 3am.  Cue mad dash into the garden to rescue deckchairs, beanbags and dust sheets that we had confidently left outside all night 🙄.  Dust sheets are for the painting of Chicklet’s room, which has been postponed due to the 30+ temperatures 🎨.  Think she will start it today ......after she has been to pick up her new (to her) car 🚗.  Mucho excitement 😀😀😀

    Morning all.

It rained a bit in the night, cloudy now.

@chicky - no we didn't go on the beach, but there are lovely beach huts in Southwold and other East Anglian beaches.

Friends and the NDNs are coming to lunch today.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

    Morning all/afties Pat if you're here  :)
I think that grasshopper's just trying to p*ss you off @Hostafan1:D
@Dovefromabove - I've had to remove shrews from the house before, but not frogs - not that I can recall anyway.
After my wasp managing/studying, I had to do some bee wrangling last week at the hairdressers. He was stuck in between the seating and the big windows, and it was too tight for a hand to get in. Fortunately, an excess of used towels proved useful - one dropped down the back of the seat for him to latch onto, taken outside to release him, and the job was done.
Lovely pic @steephill. The Beacon Hill was my first too - for the same reason as you  :)
@punkdoc - here's a link to that story of the new Hugh Munro

Hope chicklet enjoys her new car  :)
The rain hasn't quite arrived here yet, but there's some thunder and lightning for the east of the UK today according to the forecast. I love a good crack of lightning  :)

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

We’ve got some light drizzle at the moment ... not enough to do any good ... but enough to make me think I’ll get a cab to go and pick the car up rather than two busses and a walk 😉

I'm keen to rescue the grasshopper as it'll starve if it's indoors . :'(
We've got light rain and a max of 17C today. Where's me woolly pully?
