Not sticky here and we have a cool breeze.   Being serenaded by crickets, frogs, tawny and barn owls.   Might have to close the windows to get to sleep.

Hi everyone. Just thinking about a drive to town for a few groceries. Lovely clear sunny day here and not too cold.. Also, there is snow predicted again for a couple of days time. We had minus 10.8c two days ago and we really felt it. 🥶

    Sleep well all.

    Good morning all  :) ☕️

Another beautiful morning ... pinky golden and misty blue... a pair of Great black backed gulls just flew over making deep honking calls as the went, and now the goldfinches have started up again.

OH isn’t working today so I’ve tiptoed downstairs to make my own coffee while he sleeps.

I wandered in the garden while the kettle boiled .... lots of hedgehog poo around the veg patch 😊 they’re earning their keep 😊

Monring all/afties Pat. Glad it's a bit warmer for you.
Long day for you @Hostafan1. I haven't had the bedroom windows closed for ages. My room doesn't even get that hot by night time. Have a bit of a rest today if you can. You'd have enjoyed some sunbathing here yesterday - 29 it got up to. I had to stay in all afternoon  :D
I won't be so hot today anyway - heading to the Cairngorms soon.
Beautiful sunset last night. No owls for me - just the bats  :)

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

Morning Hosta, it’s been very hot here, didn’t venture into the garden on Saturday at all, just stayed indoors and lounged around, same yesterday and watered late in the evening
Put the mesh up on the bedroom window again to stop any wildlife getting in so we could have it wide open, only got the duvet cover on the bed, too hot for the duvet.

just seen that Dive is up and around as well,  good morning to you and OH as well.

Taking tea back to bed now for another hour.

We didn't even have sun until gone 2pm yesterday. When I got back after my morning route at 1.30 it hadn't gone over 18.5C all morning.
