Great photo @punkdoc 😀. They look very friendly 🦋🐝

Just checked out your gallery photos @Dovefromabove - great colour, and your pears are looking very tasty 🍐

Another sunny day here (what a weekend its been 😎) ......will be sitting outside in the shade doing some serious reading (gardening mags 😉)

Is -10 unusual for you @Pat E  ?  That would be counted as pretty cold in these parts 🥶

Well Chicky, we are close to the ski fields, so it does get cold in winter. 😊 It isn’t really unusual.  It’ll warm up soon though and we’ll be back to stinking hot summer.😡

Afternoon all, really hot here again.  I've just edged the back lawn, weeded the borders and deadheaded.  Have an aster to plant and then I'm finished apart from watering this evening.  Feeling a bit better today about mom just hope she has perked up too.  Done most of my packing and the house is relatively tidy so all ready for the off tomorrow.  Still itching like mad can't believe how many bites I have, normally anitihistamines work but they don't seem to be doing much at the moment.  Hope everyone is enjoying the holiday and the weather.

I just went out to bring in some dried washing from the line and in the few minutes I was there I began to feel quite lightheaded ... 34C +
    and rising 🥵

@Yviestevie ((hugs)) I think that sometimes  our parents tell us they’re unhappy with their lot when we visit because seeing us reminds them of their former lives ... when we’re not there most are reasonably content most of the time.  Glad you’re feeling brighter today ... you have absolutely nothing to reproach yourself for. ((Hugs))

send it my way, it's only 20C here. I'm wondering if it's warm enough to lie on the lounger

Too hot here too.  I'm off to sunbathe and read for an hour or so and then get some admin done.   The bed I watered last night is already too dry to weed and it's way too hot for baby cabbages to move into their new home.

At least the butterflies are enjoying the heat ... lots of them all over the garden ... including Painted Ladies 🦋

Im indoors ... it’s slightly cooler here ... knitting and a large bottle of iced fizzy water are helping keep me cool ... well, the latter is the most effective 😝

We are watching La Vuelta España. Amazing countryside to see from the air.  Miles and miles of terraced dry country with orchards everywhere. Looks as dry as us.
