Morning Forkers. I’ve been a bit tired the last couple of days so haven’t felt like chatting.

We visited the Oncologist on Thursday and he’s pleased with Hubby’s progress. He is to be off chemo from now on and just continuing with other stuff that he’s been taking. Monthly blood tests and two monthly visits for progress reports. We are hoping his taste buds continue to come back to life. 😛. I’m a bit fed up with our limited diet.😉

weather here the same - cold nights, clear moonlit night, mild sunny days with cold wind and of course NO RAIN.  🤬

Thanks Hosta and Dove. I seem to be lacking in energy, but it’ll come back soon, I’m sure.

Monring all/afties Pat. Glad it's good news for  you. You'll be back to your old self soon, and hopefully hubby will be the same. He'll be asking for a curry before you know it    ;)
Lovely autumnal day here - yes, I can hear the groans @Hostafan1 :D
Standard fare for us in August, but we got an extra week of summer this year. Definitely warmer until about Monday. We had that strange spell of wet thundery stuff, but it was still warm, which was unusual.
Hoping it stays a bit drier today as I have a step to finish at the back gate.  It's good and breezy so the washing should dry quickly too.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Morning and G’day. Great news that chemo has finished Pat and hubby - recuperate and spoil yourselves a bit now.
The weather has perked-up a bit today, but still on the cool side.
    Have a decent weekend all.

Great news Pat 👏🏻👏🏻  Hope you start to feel more energised soon......but you have both had a lot to cope with lately, so it will take time.  Are you ready to start seed sowing yet?  Your spring must be just around the corner ☀️

Today we are off car shopping for Chicklet .......dreading it.  Hate car salesmen (sweeping generalisation there, I am sure some are lovely people 😊 ) and all the malarkey that goes with it, but she needs some moral support 🙄🚙

Had our first tomatoes 🍅 from the greenhouse yesterday.  Late this year.  Have also stopped the tops and removed bottom leaves in the hope of getting a few more soon.  Cucumbers 🥒 are good this year tho 👍🏻

    Morning all.

That's good news Pat. OH should feel better when he's off the chemo. A necessary drug but it can make you feel awful.

My cucumbers have failed this year, frizzled up in the heat.

Son 2 rang this morning to invite himself & family to lunch. I found a large tin of "confit de canard", duck thighs in the larder. That should do it with a load of veg from the garden.
