    Morning all - hi Pat!

Thanks to all for congrats.  We had a happy day doing not a lot (and watching GW, of course).  Odd to think it's only 6 years to our golden wedding... when I was young, couples who were married 50 years were rare because lives were shorter; now they're rare because marriage is less common and less permanent...

Saw a beautiful fox out of the bedroom window this morning.  First in 13 years... we hear them in the park woods, and they leave calling cards on our lawn occasionally, but we'd never seen one from the house.  :)

Hope your MIL improves quickly now she's back at home, with family caring for her, @WonkyWomble .  And that you and @Dovefromabove have a great day out!

Bit late, but many congrats for yesterday @Liriodendron and Mr Liri 🌸🌸🌸

spent a lot of time yesterday watching butterflies on buddleja and rudbeckia .......fascinating 🦋 .  Also finished a brilliant book - a gentleman in Moscow - highly recommend for anyone with even a passing interest in all things Russian 🇷🇺

Off to London today for an explore round Islington 👞👟👞👟......not an area I know at all.

Glad you had a good day Liri.

Bother, forgot to record GW, maybe it's on tomorrow morning. Family here, busy weekend.

Hope Dove and Wonky enjoy Beth Chatto, but hard not to!

Sorry to hear about MIL Wonky, hope she feels better soon.  Have had an exciting day today (Not) popped to B&Q for a new toilet brush.  Mind you this morning was better, had a look round Ashwoods Nursery and had a scone at the cafe.  Too tired to do any gardening, over did it a bit yesterday and it's very muggy here.

Hello folks 😊 home after a lovely day ... lots of photos to post (and a few confessions :flushed:) but I’ll do that tomorrow ... for the moment I’m on the sofa with my feet up. 😴

Lookng forward to the photos @Dovefromabove.   Lots of temptation in that plant shop!   Smpathies for @WonkyWomble's MIL. I've had cracked ribs and they're seriously painful and her injuries are worse.  Ouch!

Busy day doing lots of nothing cos I was tired.   Bit of watering, bit of idying, bit of sunbathing, bit of reading, bit of cooking.......   Stupid knee plus I managed to make and burst a huge blister under my 2nd toe yesterday so not very mobile and Cosmos entertained me with a mouse last night so not a lot of sleep.
