@Pat E - well done on the restraint. I no longer bother with that  ;)
I'm about to head off, but they've just read out some of the jokes from the Fringe and it might give a smile.
I think doc might like the one about the chap getting an Eton themed advent calendar. All the doors are being opened by his Dad's contacts....
    Ba boom ching.

    I thenk you  :D

    morning all.
You've all been a bit chatty whilst I was "sloggin' me guts out" yesterday.

@chicky, you got me thinking ( a rarity ) and I've counted up that I've only ever bought 3 cars in my life. The last one was was on July 11th 1989 , I've always bought vans since then ,and only 4 of them . I have , however, told Hubby that I want  a cobalt blue soft top Mini Cooper S when we get round to buying another one.

3 days off with Hubby  and not really much to do , which feels very odd.
    Devon.

Thats what Chicklet is looking for, but without the soft top, CooperS and cobalt blue bits 😉......she’ll have to save a bit more for that 😀

Enjoy your “time with no plans” .......I like those days the best 👍🏻

    Morning all.

That is such a sad photo. I wonder how many more families have been affected in similar ways by that war, just tragic.

Ordinary sort of day here, HW, mucking out, SM.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

As long as the housework doesn't include mucking out @Busy-Lizzie ;)
Been there with oldest daughter.... :#
I'm on my ninth car @Hostafan1. Amazing how they add up!  :)
Do you think Dove is sleeping off all that lager she'll have consumed yesterday? She'll be Kerry Packered after her table dancing too...lying under a pile of coats with a cold pizza under her face or summat.... :D

Huh ... good morning all 😊  ... I’ve been out there picking courgettes (and a marrow 🙄 ) and runner beans and hanging out the washing. We had a lovely day ... the heavens opened just as everyone arrived but it didn’t last long ... we put the food out in the dining room and the studio, the drinks in the kitchen and plastic bags on the seats ... a good time was had by all

not everyone was camera shy ... 😉

The boiler is being serviced this afternoon so I’m making a cauliflower cheese this morning for our supper, and prepping beans and courgettes for the freezer.

We seem to have acquired the EU cheese mountain and wine lake, so come 31st October we’ll be fine 🍷 🧀 😋

I'm a bit slow on the car buying front. I bought the current one new 17 years ago, the previous one was an ex-hire car bought 6 months old which lasted 14 years and was sold on as a runner. I reckon the current one has another decade left in it at least but will probably go electric before then.
