I think I've discovered a gardening chore which suits Hubby's OCD. Edging the new border!!

I've been known to do that @Lyn :D
My back grass isn't very big, and due to all the drainage I put in, if it's dry for more than a couple of days and there's not much growth, I just do the edges and it looks nice and neat  :)
Been lovely here this afternoon after the rain this morning. Got a good bit done.
Of course, I can't just stop at revamping one border can I. Doing all of them.... :/
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

@Pat E I thought you were talking about the bin lorry crews when you said about it being mating time 🙄 😂
    Ha!

Hope everyone is well. I’m counting down the days until annual leave here... just a stay-cation planned but welcome all the same. I notice that we have a warm weekend coming up but I hope the Summer reserves some fine weather for my time off.

Bit of an Eek! moment this afternoon while trying to sort out my new compost bins. Had a quick look in on my lazy slow worms and found a baby grass snake in there with them. Haven't seen one in the daleks for a couple of years so good to know they are still around.

    How lovely @steephill 😊

Can someone remind me in the morning that I need to get my car to the garage by 9am for a pre-Cornwall trip check-over ... the MOT is due in November so, given our M25/Dartford Tunnel experience last month, I thought I’d get them to look her over.

But it does mean I’ve got to get up earlier than usual 🙄

We have slow worms in one or two spots on the Allotments but never seen any snakes.

I recall Allan Tichmarsh writing some time ago that if you don't have time to do the whole lawn just do the edges and it makes it look better.

I'm up and dressed and am ready to take Lola (my car) for her check up. I have a book to read while I wait ...
