Similar story when a mate had his flat burgled. Ā Record player nicked but not before they took off the record on it and threw it aside - Michael Moorcock and the Deep Fix (Hawkwind in disguise).

Was that when you lived up here? Thae Glesgae burglars ur a better class of thief..... ;)

I thought you might have known that little nugget @punkdoc :D
I've got slight deja vu - didn't we talk about Steely Dan a while ago? I remember saying Pretzel Logic was maybe my favourite album of theirs.Ā

Only the best West End thieves, flat just off Byres Road. The record player dates it a bit, CD's were far in the future at that point. I think it wasn't even stereo, just mono.

    Good morning allĀ  :) ā˜•ļøĀ
Its a lovely morning out there ... I’ve been padding around in the dewy grass in my dressing gown and bare feet, annoying a jay who thought he should have the garden to himself ... he squawked angrily at me from the ash tree for a while before flying off in a huff šŸ˜†Ā

Morning everyone else as you appear/afties Pat if you're thereĀ  :)
Not sure about dew here, grass is just wet, but there's condensation on my windows. Nice and fresh though, and looks like we'll get some sun as it's brightening up.Ā
I might even get a walk. I aggravated my hamstring a bit again last week so I've been staying put. Stupid old tart. Just as well I didn't head to the Mamores last Thursday. Not a set of hills you want to be tackling unless you feel fit.Ā

This is the guy who said only the US should have a veto in the UN and only the US should have a permanent seat on the Security Council. Nobody else.

    Morning all.

Gardening lady has come and is tackling overgrown shrubs and brambles around the pond. Two of my arthritic fingers on right hand are still swollen, having trouble with secateurs.

Will need a trip to Leclerc this afternoon, running out of basics such as milk and loo rolls. The family got through such a lot. I'm still washing sheets and towels.

Hosta, maybe you should start a political thread.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
