Hosta Hugs for you @Lily Pilly. You've been through the mill with it all this year.

    Hi all
Wet and cold here, not what is required.
@Hostafan1, I wear it as a badge of honour when certain people ignore me, I must be doing something right.
You will get better @Lily Pilly
Have a good time in your new home @Liriodendron

Thank you, @punkdoc.  One thing I'm planning to do while I'm there is to make a plan of the garden...   :)

Hugs to you, @Lily Pilly... your garden will survive a bit of neglect and still look beautiful.  Perhaps you need to take care of yourself for a bit.

I don't know if anyone is ignoring me on here - and I don't really care... if people don't want to read what I write, that's their privilege.  The only time I get hot under the collar about the Forum is when people start posting "shouty" things, and don't have the courtesy to wonder whether other people's seriously held, well thought out opinions (not the knee-jerk reactions some express) might be worthy of consideration.   :/
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.

You are more important than the garden @Lily Pilly. Take care of you then when you are strong again you can deal with the garden.

Good luck with the painting, @Liriodendron and have fun planning the garden. Is the soil good?

Can you tell if someone is ignoring you? I expect Dove will know. I never ignore anyone.

Tastes differ so, I like hearing about pets and what people are doing and who is coming to stay. Maybe I'm just nosy.

Some people seem to take great pleasure in telling me that they are going to ignore me. Usually I am delighted  :)

    ...

I have absolutely no idea @Busy-Lizzie ... the only way I can tell is if I offer to buy them a drink and they don’t accept .... 🤣

Oh @Lily Pilly you are going through the mill, I agree the garden can be sorted another year think of it as lying fallow. Many years ago a friend of ours sister had problems with apparent multiple allergies and Haematological problems. She got out of it by eating a very bland diet (boiled meat & whole boiled potatoes) for about 6 Months because the hospital ran out of ideas. No idea if this sort of approach  would help you but just a thought.

Hope you enjoy that @Pauline 7 . Lovely when someone else makes it for you too  :)
Where do you work? Apologies if you've said previously and I've missed it.
I used to eat curry quite often, but I can't remember the last time I had a proper one...
That's very interesting ABoy. A bit like 're setting yourself' maybe?
@Lily Pilly. You must be feeling thoroughly miserable with it all. Someone really has sh*t on you from a great height recently. Is it worth getting someone in to have a bit of a tidy up before winter?
Don't think you can tell who ignores you, @Busy-Lizzie . I usually ignore someone 'in theory' rather than pressing the button. That way, you can see if their behaviour continues and they can be flagged up to the mods. There's been a few cases of people being outwardly rude and aggressive to other posters, and I feel that shouldn't go unchallenged.
