    Hi all

Wet, cold and dark, where has summer gone?
Hospital appointment today, always a joy, not.

Summer will appear in mid September @punkdoc ... it’s when we’re heading to the southwest 😎

Hope hospital trip is bearable ((hugs))

Its all to stop the spread of things like xzyella (?sp).  So probably shortages and higher prices in the short term, but a more vibrant uk nursery industry in the long term........you heard it hear first 😉
Should have added, this is nothing to do with B@***#t, it will happen on December 14th regardless .......

It'll no doubt be blamed on that anyway chicky.

Morning all/afties Pat if you're around.
Hope the appt. goes well doc. Take a plant/seed catalogue and tick lots of boxes  ;)
Supposed to be a better day here today, but it couldn't be much worse than yesterday anyway. September is normally a good month here too Dove, weather wise  :)

These Plant ID apps ... has anyone else had a PM from someone called Starry offering an opportunity to collaborate with them??? 😡

WFH today ......here’s the view from the “office” window.  It seems bramble leaves are a delicacy ......

    Well - it's saving you a job @chicky  :D
    They're a bl**dy nuisance in a garden, but you can't help smiling too  :)

Anyway - what are you doing looking out the windows when you should be working?....

It is the Assumption holiday here today and all sorts of local activities going on but nothing to tempt us.

It is cool and cloudy here with temps in the low 20s.  Seems to be a pattern as this is the 3rd August we've been here and the 3rd that has laid on special dull weather for all those Parisians and others flocking to the second sunniest region in France for 2 weeks of roasting.  I'm tempted to take all my treasures out of the party barn and line them up against its west facing wall where they can enjoy the afternoon sun and occasional drizzle without frazzle.

Sewing duties first tho and then tomatoes to tackle.   OH can help me do pots when he gets home from golf.

That's a lovely view from the office @Chicky.   We have a bramble hedge too but no deer so OH hacks it.  It's actually a wire fence between us and the horsey neighbours but infested with brambles which can snag a leg as we go by on the mower.  Not good.

Interesting about new plant rules.  I know the RHS has been pushing for greater contrls and plant hygiene for imports for some time.   Worth doing tho I expect there'll be uproar at first.

Hope today goes better than you expect @punkdoc.
