Hope you get a chance to get outdoors over the weekend @Yviestevie. I got some eye drops from the optician and they were very good. I got them online the next time and saved a bit.
Fingers crossed you get a sale sooner rather than later BL. A big house and garden becomes a burden eventually, unless you're well enough off to have 'staff'  ;)
I think it's a shopping centre, but I'm sure Yvie will confirm.
That's a pain [literally] about your wrist @Allotment Boy . Don't go too long without getting it checked though.  :)
I managed a little job before the rain came back on. Very ominous looking sky and thunder forecast again, but it's looking to be better tomorrow, so fingers crossed I can get more done then.

Oops - I'm so slow. @raisingirl has already answered you Merry Hell query  ;)

Merry Hell is indeed the Merry Hill Shopping Centre.  A place I normally avoid like the plague (especially at Ch****mas time).  Have just been on Peter Nyssen website and am now £40 poorer.  Will check out those eyedrops online Fairy, paid £11.00 at the optician but they are good for 6 months after opening, some you can only use for 1 month.

That sounds like the ones I got Yvie. Mine are Hycosan original and they can be used for 6 months after opening. My eyes were just dry and itchy and they helped a huge amount :)

Have just got in from our first attendance at the local Franc-British club AGM.  All reports either read very slowly in English or French and everything the Pres said repeated in English and French.......   At the end, I suggested to the president that all the committee members be introduced with name and function so new members could see who they were.  Afterwards, the president came over and said thank you, good idea, never done that before.  Doh!

Have a good trip RG.  I really like Manchester.

No bulb ordering here @Yviestevie.   I tend to pick up bags in GCs in late autumn when they're clearing the shelves.  I get some good bargains and that works for me till I know what does well here.   One thing I can grow here is those perfumed daffs like poeticus which didn't like Belgian winters at all.

I know it's not de rigeur to discuss other threads but - could some of us here take a look at that Gardener's World coming on thread , and do a bit of flagging?
You'll see why if you look  :/

    Cheers Dove  :)
No point reporting - but at least if we flag it, it'll disappear

    Evening.
    What is wrong with people?
I watched tele with a blanket over me tonight and I now have socks on in bed. August has really lost points this year. Must do better.
    Night folks.

    Morning all 😊 ☕️

i did put a light cardigan and a pair of socks on yesterday evening ... and we have a very light summer duvet on the bed so popped a fleece over it and were toasty ... still had the bedroom window open.

The good weather is being held back until mid September @AuntyRach 😉 ... that’s when we’ll be holidaying in the southwest 🏖 😎
