We’ve managed to avoid Fbook so far 😊 despite entreaties from certain family members who want to know why we don’t ‘like’ what they post 🤷‍♀️

    Hi all!

"Liking" things on Facebook is a minefield... my kids know I only look at it around once a week, so if they actually want to impart information or share pictures with me, WhatsApp is much more likely to get a response.   :)

Lovely weather today, after rain for several successive days in the last week.  Must finish the wall building... and go and murmur sweet nothings to my seedlings...   ;)
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.

@fidgetbones Rosa Fidget is doing well - starting to romp up a holly tree 🌲.  No flowers yet, but I am hopeful of one this year.  Let me know if you want me to attempt a cutting so that you can replace those that have been wantonly destroyed ☹️

Cuddling a big warm cat can be very therapeutic @islander ... hope tomorrow’s a better day ... you can join me on the sofa with some knitting in a bit if you like ... I’m on
    the second sleeve of an
Aran jumper for my 6’7” son in law ... the sleeves are very long 😆 😓

The jumper is long too ... but he’s very tall and very thin ... a real beanpole 😆... so this jumper will be the first that actually fits him!!! As he’s my own personal laptop technician I'm very happy to knit him a jumper that fits him 😊

Good afternoon.  Today was supposed to be wall to wall sunshine, tho not warm, and we were going to head east for a heritage tomato fest and garden flea market over an hour away.  Took one look at the sky to the east and stayed in bed reading a funny book for a while longer.

I resisted FB for years but then we set up closed groups for communicating with dance club members in different classes and levels and sharing videos of their steps.   These days I use it for daily chats with Possum via messenger and occasional face-to-face chats with her.   It's also good for keeping in touch with one or two special friends in Belgium and the UK as well as rellies.  Don't get involved with the rest and don't do Twitter or the other one.

I shall probably go and plant the rest of the potatoes today and maybe start on teh onions that had t wait for a clear bed and the weather.

Chicky - it will be great if your baby can make a replacement for Fidget's lost parent roses.  What a great thing plant swaps are.

Dove - I've given up on knitting but yesterday I did buy 3 lovely pieces of cotton to make OH some respectable summer shirts.   Some of his are getting a bit faded now.
Vendée - 20kms from Atlantic coast.

Goodness me!!! 😀. That’s speedy!!! I don’t think I could afford to keep myself in wool if I knitted that fast 😆 and of course I only knit when I’m taking time out on the sofa late afternoons and evenings ... and as I have shoulder problems, if they’re painful I don’t knit for too long.

I find that knitting works for my brain like meditation does for other folk.

    Company’s good here innit 😉
