    Good Morning all.
A wet and soggy one here at the moment. Maybe it will dry up by this afternoon. At least it is doing the grass seed good if the chaffinches haven't eaten it all. Out this morning so had better make an attempt at a quicker post.
@nultyphilip224  Like the others I am running out of words to describe your garden. There is no doubt you have won the prize for your foxgloves. I planted out what was supposed to be a snapdragon but think the label is wrong as it is nothing like I remember them to be from my childhood. it's pretty anyway whatever it is. We were lucky and didn't have any rain yesterday and when the sun came out it was really warm but in between the clouds the wind felt really chilly. Sweet peas are looking good. Hope you sort out the links on your computer.
@AnniD  Hope OH is feeling better today. He was lucky to get a second appointment fitted in saving yet another journey. Was Mr B's first visit 4pm or had he already had an early breakfast? His babies must have been playing him up. Oh dear you can't do much on this forum without someone finding out. Yes I have to admit to "Dragon's Blood" and just hoping they arrive when my son isn't here or else I shall be told I don't need any more. Had to have a few others as well to make up the free postage! Think I could do with a tonic as well!
@Purplerain  Hope you enjoy your evening hosting the "girls". I noticed you watched Carol Klein last night as well. I really enjoyed it and now think maybe my plants aren't overcrowded as they all blend in together. That's my excuse anyway. You win the bet on Dragon's Blood as well. Not sure where it will go but will wait and see after I have walked around the allotment several times trying to make up my mind.
@Valley Gardener  Do hope the rabbit found its way home. I bet you enjoyed your time in the art room. Have you had any requests lately apart from the one from @AnniD
for Mr B.? Think OH would listen to classical music all day if he had the chance.

Well I don't think I have been much quicker than usual but hope I haven't mixed you all up and sorry if I have missed anything. A short while ago I thought "Oh yes I must do that" but now have no idea as to what it was...

    Enjoy your day.

Hi again all. Been out for about 45 minutes.....Neem oiled everywhere again as the slugs and snails have got at the hostas,I've been ruthless and cut down the plants overhanging the path,as we were both fed up with legs and feet getting wet. There's hardly anything in the way of flowers, though the buds are there, the Salvia, blue spires is just about to bloom, but this lack of sun is holding it all back. I noticed a few days ago some Iris looking pointy leaves, but for the life of me I don't remember planting corms, however we will soon see what emerges! I usually jot down in a notebook what I've planted, and where........no sign of this mystery plant!

Yes I started a big canvas, cottages in the New Forest, all blocked in,now comes the oily messy bit,and how I hate cleaning the brushes, that was the job I had to do when I first worked in a studio.......only 17 and cleaning brushes for a more experienced Artist, but I am forever grateful to him as he taught me so much.

I thought Mr B was quite cheeky, but at least he's not interested in my toes ! I wonder if this blackbird thinks  they are fat worms ?

@Valley Gardener, your pointy leaves might be crocosmia perhaps? (Or monbretia as MIL still calls them).

@AnniD I have crocosmia, this looks like a bluey bud, just wish I could remember planting them, there are 5/6. The old brain is getting addled I'm afraid!!!😊😊

I have been out in the garden this afternoon @Fran IOM thinking "Uh oh, l may have to write something now !" I think a book maybe stretching it (J K Rowling breathes a sigh of relief),  but maybe a short story.....
I will have to get my brain into gear, but we creative types cannot be hurried 👩‍💻
Edited to add, while l was in the kitchen Mr B sat looking at me through the window. When l took his mealworms out, l told him he had been captured for posterity by Valley Gardener and had better find picture hook for his nest.
I wonder who these men in white coats are ?
