@Valley Gardener. The white flowers I was looking at are in photo 20. So they must be Snow in Summer. I got my Silene M. from SGC and as they were only small when I planted them out in September I was a bit dubious as to whether they would survive the winter. I take it the frog is well stuck down! Have you removed the leaves that were growing out of your rustic handrail? May Hare continue to face the moon.
Managed to get out in the garden to do some watering of pots before the rain came. While I was out there I took some photos as it was quite overcast. (Because it's predominately South facing, my camera tends to bleach out the colours in full sun). I have posted three just to give you some idea of what it's looking like at the moment - unfortunately Mr B was camera shy at the time
@AnniD. Your garden is fabulous! The foxgloves look gorgeous at the back of the border,in fact everything looks amazing! It's so nice to visualise what each other's bit of heaven is like! @Fran IOM. No the frog is so heavy it won't move from the Leylandii stump, and so far the rail is still sprouting, two different types!!
The whole truth is an instrument that can only be played by an expert.
You are welcome @AnniD. My photo taken today of the Iris Sibiricus and the puddle pond can't compete, but as I said I would put it up when they flowered, here they are:
@AnniD. I agree with everyone else in saying your garden looks gorgeous! If only my allotment looked like that. You obviously know what goes with what to make such a lovely arrangement. The lawn is also looking very well cared for. @Purplerain I am sure your garden is equally as good. You may not think so but I'm sure in someone else's eyes it would be. @islander. That weather warning sounds horrendous. It was bad enough here this morning but now we have blue skies but still very windy. It must be so disheartening to see the damage to your plants. Maybe tomorrow will be a brighter day. Bet the cats are snuggled inside with you. @Valley Gardener It will be interesting to see what does sprout out of your rails. I think the expression "plop pond" is going to remain. Wouldn't mind one myself but don't know what would live in it. @Purplerain Does anything live in yours?
