Hi everyone,Thank you so much for your good wishes. I have been following all your industriousness (there's a word) you have all been so busy, and I haven't touched a thing! Hubby watering, feeding birds and Tads, cooking etc.........his was man flu! today he put the deck chairs on the terrace (for Cush and me) with a big blanket! I did a quick pic or two,but it will be another week I reckon. Hitting the Metatone now! Lovely intriguing stone Philip.

Hi @Valley Gardener. So good to hear you are on the mend. Good job OH didn't get any worse so he is able to spoil you. Lovely sunshine to sit in the deck chair with Cush. Lovely photos with the rather sad looking dog and you have the bird bath I would like to get my hands on! Keep on the Metatone and it won't be long before you are doing jobs in the garden again. Take it slowly. P.S. Love all your statues etc.
Much more fragrant now, thank heavens for power showers. @Valley Gardener, glad you are feeling better. Just sitting out in the fresh air and sunshine is a tonic in itself. Just remember to take it steady. x
@AnniD,..ah yes i was feeling sorry for the Lamb when i realised it was lost,..then the Shepherd arrived and saved the day.
I can see why Mouse wouldn't put in an appearance if it could scent the Cat,..i bet that Cat can scent the Mouse being around,..poor Mouse has a risky night out when it does come out,..i am keeping my fingers crossed all is well,..i am thinking of purchasing a yard Camera,..just for Hedgehog viewing.
Well you surely did more work than i did and i was out of it at six this evening,..so much that when i sat down for a quick break i could hardly get up,..now i need a bath.
@Fran IOM,..thankfully we are all having great weather,..in my garden today the temperature was 23C=74F,..i found myself puffing,..i sawed most of the remaining Peris japonica down to about 1 Metre ,..lots of space,..for something lol.
I did contemplate using the hose today but it was too sunny and warm so it had to be the watering can,..when i presumed i was finished,..i spotted something needing watering,..went back into the house with the empty watering can,..filled it up but couldn't remember which plant i filled it for,..only when the can was empty did it hit me,..soooo back to filling another can.
One reason you couldn't view the card could be that your Adobe Flash Player needed updating,..just a guess as its happened to me in the past,..my Mouse problem is solved,..i found that the mouse for the main computer will work on both my laptops,..up to now the mouse that gave me trouble last night would work on both laptops,..so i ended up better off.
Tomorrow i am going to cut off some Hellebore Blooms to remove the seed pods then let them dry,..if i leave the pods on the blooms any longer they might pop open and i would loose the seeds.
About your Ivy,..just select a young piece,..nip the tip off,..cut below a leaf further down,..leave it in water to root,..or start the same piece as a cutting in a pot.
On your Tasman Lily Bulbs,..i would sow them as soon as possible,..light shade to full sun location,..sowing them now will mean blooming around July or August,..the best time would have being early Spring to bloom in June July.
I like the description of your nice new pot,..how about something growing in the pot that will cascade over the sides seeing you have 20cms of a fall,..just one suggestion.
@Purplerain,..Lol at you spotting me popping up here and there behind ancient stones,..like one of the little people,..i navigated to that location and so the attire,..it was a chilly day though sunny,..only approx 15 mins down river.
Cuprinol Shades of Willow,..nice name and is that the cold frame peeping out on the left of your HUGE amount of young plants,..you were very busy,..well done.
I ordered Neem Oil from Amazon,..at the same time i was renewing my car insurance,..got the delivery date from Amazon mixed up and got out of bed at 0600,..several hours later i discovered the delivery date is next Friday,..i hate mistakes like this,..senior moment.
@Valley Gardener,..very nice to see your returning to good health and didn't OH do well from covering the plants with Fleece when you were away,.sooo it was a Man Flu?,..meaning a short touch of the bug and a fast recovery.
Industriousness,..nice word,..i must take some of that medication you are taking for your Flu.
Lovely images you posted,..and so the Moon Gazing Hare,..its a beauty never seen one before and i like your Fairy as well,..your blooms are far in advance towards mine.
I was re potting a plant today and thought of your pond and how it would suit,..the plant is Lysimachia nummularia 'Creeping Jenny',..it produces a good sized yellow bloom,..i keep mine in wet soil and with mostly 15cms of water.
I wonder does anyone eat Fern Faggots,..the tips of the Fern fried in a little butter tastes like Chestnuts at Christmas,..i have not come across them in the Supermarket this year as yet.
Good morning everyone Looks like it will be another lovely day. @nultyphilip224 ,that Royal Red amaryllis is such a beautiful colour. I have never heard of Fern Faggots, sounds intriguing, but l am not a fan of chestnuts. Wouldn't mind trying them though , just so l can say I have ! I am dying to get the nematodes done, but they are not supposed to be applied in bright sunshine. I might get them done if l get up early enough but tbh l feel "cream crackered" this morning. Another cup of tea might help. I also plan to sow tomatoes and climbing bean seeds today. Hope that everyone has a good day and that @Valley Gardener 's recovery continues apace.
@nultyphilip224 Minerva lasted a long time,it's great to have another perfect bloom to take it's place, aren't ferns gorgeous? I have many babies around the garden, wild ones.I will do some relocating near the little pond for shelter. There's nothing like Metatone to put you back on top after an illness!
@Fran IOM . I had to smile about the sad dog!! It's meant to be a hare looking up,think I got the wrong angle!😁,
@AnniD I feel I've turned the corner,🏊 not feeling as though I'm underwater now!!! but will be careful not to lug stuff about!
