Morning all/afties, evening Pat. Glad you've had a bit of rain to help things along. Hope you have a better day today, BL. What have you done chicky? Not read back yet. Have you been trying to keep up with Dove? She's always falling over or summat I can't talk really, can I! I find it strange how people don't notice the changes too. Birds singing, a haze of green on hedges or buds on trees. There's some lovely blossom appearing on the wild plum trees round here too. Beautiful. Hope no one had any devastation of new blossom from the wind the other day. It seemed less severe than predicted from what I heard. Chilly and damp and two degrees here, so probably indoor jobs for me. Been back out walking the last couple of days to try and get a few miles back in my legs. Just short ones of four and five miles round the doors, which I find difficult to get motivated about, but needs must.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

Bit blowy again today but dry so far. Lots of scudding grey stuff so likely to be wet later. Spotted the first of the cowslips in the hedgerows and roadside ditches the other day but no wild primroses yet which is odd.
OH has spent an hour digging my new beds but now we both have to go and get clean to go and have lunch and then buy paint for the accent wall.
Hope you get some more rain and it stays cooler Pat. Take it easy Chicky.
Anyone got any tips for dealing with fibromyalgia? I have friend who has just been told it's the likely cause of her recent problems. Bit depressed and tearful yesterday.

Oh that's horrible, Obelixx. I think it's one of those things that you 'manage' rather than having a cure for, but we really need doc to help with advice. Having someone to talk to about it will help her though, so perhaps just chatting with you yesterday will have helped a good bit.

Thanks FG and Islander. She's very anti psychologists and, so far, doesn't want to join a support group but I shall have a google about and see what I can find. I think the main thing is that she's a perfectionist so will need to learn to do things in short bursts then walk away and rest and also get her hubby helping more but, at the mo, she won't even let him peel potatoes for dinner cos he doesn't do it well enough.
I told her that he just needs practice and that OHs, like dogs, can be educated. At least that made her laugh.

I hope there’s something interesting on the box tonight. Getting bored.
Lots more rain here last night and some distant thunder too.
Hope you have a better day today, BL.
