It’s warmed up a bit this afternoon. I’ve just dug over 3 kg spuds They look healthy. I like new potatoes. 😛

Good morning all  :) Gday Pat  :) goodness that does look colourful ... your very hot summer has developed lots of sugars in the leaves.

Yes it’s the sugars that make the red colours ... this explains it https://www.woodlandtrust.org.uk/blog/2018/10/why-autumn-leaves-change-colour/

We’re all full of good intentions @islander ... sometimes our bodies aren’t as helpful as they could be 🙄.  As long as we don’t give up or ‘go quietly’ ... and keep our minds active and ‘thinking outside the box’ 😉

Lovely bright start here in the Surrey/Sussex borders, morning all. Off to fracture clinic with OH soon. We need to leave about an hour early to get through Guildford traffic at this time of day and I will probably spend another 30 or 40 minutes circulating the car park trying to find a very expensive space  >:)

Lots to be done in the garden, mainly prevention of growth. It seems I am the garden equivalent of the Dilbert character the Preventer of Information Services.
