    Welcome home @chicky ☕️

I got the washing in, nice and dry, just in time ... the sun has disappeared and heavy rain is hammering on our westfacing windows.

You need to post things like that on the crafty thread Islander.  Knitting, sewing, artists.....

Just spoken with my neighbour ( primula nursery )
" Whilst we're at Malvern, is there any chance you could do some hand watering? "
"no problem. What is it you want watered?"
" Just the stuff we're taking to Chelsea"
    eek, no pressure.

At least you can't really overwater those, Hosta  ;)
They wouldn't ask you if they didn't think you could do it.
Glad you got back safely, chicky.  :)
Hope you're tucked up and cosy now islander. The rough weather is here for a few days anyway.
I managed a walk this afternoon when the rain/hail eventually petered out. Brisk breeze still. More painting, starting on older fairylet's room, and the purple wall.... :|
At least it's not as dark as I thought it was going to be. Kind of blackcurrant-y.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

Evening all, hello Fairy sounds like this retirement lark is keeping you busy!😊
Busy day here too, spring cleaning, making sausage rolls, smoked paprika sausage and bean casserole, roast chicken, three loads of washing done, sorted through clothes and sorted things for charity shop.
About to eat roast chicken dauphinoise potatoes and my first home grown people sprouting broccoli 😁
    Then doing absolutely nothing!!!
    No pressure indeed Hosta!!!!!!
Hope everyone has had a lovely day

    Evening.
Oo you’ve reminded me I have 2 bags for the charity shop - clothes, jigsaws and a few random bits.
That’s quite an honour Hosta - a bit of a step-up from from a neighbour asking you to feed the goldfish and water their old Peace Lily.
My Sis just said she had a tweet from Monty tonight, about using and re-using plastic in the garden!
