Morning all/afties, evening Pat if you're looking in.
Lovely and bright and clear here, but a hefty layer of ice so I'll have to watch I don't go a*** over t*t when I go out for a whirl round later. Birds were out and about wanting their grub too.
I have been known to wear socks in bed, but I don't really like my feet being too hot. I have throws on the end of the bed so I can kick them off or on depending on how hot or cold I am.
Can I get you a hot beverage, Dove? Or will I just shout loudly to get your OH up?
My fingernails always look terrible nowadays. Full of paint just now  :#
Meant to say - hope you're ok doc. Did you watch the rugby at the weekend? Think AuntyR will be happy with her boys.  :)

Morning @chicky and @Fairygirl ... first coffee has been had and second one has arrived (our mugs are not large) ... I will soon be fully awake ... 😃

We have throws at the end of the bed too ... it works for us 🛏 👍

I know Dove - it was on our local news. It was refurbished a few years ago.  :/
I hope it wasn't some clown that's responsible, although it would be unlikely.
I spoke too soon about the clear skies - weeing down here now.
Siskins were back just before that though. What a difference a day makes...

    Morning all.
Late night for us last night. Antiques Roadshow followed by Race across the world then Baptiste.
Sunny this morning and a light breeze " lull before the storm" said the nice weather lady last night.
No jim jams here either, not since I was about 13.

The birds know where they’re well off 👍 @Fairygirl
We still have patches of blue sky and intermittent bursts of bright sunshine, but the clouds are building up and the wind is stronger now.
I’ve just checked the fridge/freezer and there’s no need for me to venture out until Wonky and I go shopping in the city on Thursday so 😁

Dove, isn’t it lovely when you can go shopping with your daughter.  I hope she get on well with her new venture, there comes a time when you just have to stop and slow down a bit.
My mum and I always went shopping together.  If I was going out, I’d always ring ask if she wanted to come.

Very windy yesterday, hope it’s not coming back.  A fisherman was swept off a boat last night by a wave, on the south Devon coast, luckily got air rescued.  We have to admire our air/sea rescuers.
Looking at the weather now, you wouldn’t believe how it can change overnight.

Good morning.    Huge blue sky overhead but clouds where the sun is and all around as far as I can see.   OH has gone to have an impression made for his new crown.  I have made shepherd's pie for dinner tonight as I get in late on Mondays - mosaic after patchwork.   No painting today but I'm looking forward to having it all done so I can go and play outside - weeds to clear, seeds to sow, roses and clems to plant.....

Our birds are on rations now.  No peanuts in the shops and I've run out of fat blocks with meal worms.  None of those left in the local shops either.   That leaves fat balls and loose mixed seed.

Enjoy your day, especially those needing a rest after a busy gardening weekend.
