I’m planning a bit of gardening ... but there’s also a lasagne to be made and a jumper to be knitted  :)

    Morning all.
Wet and very windy overnight, but the sun is trying to get through. Fingers crossed.

Morning Hosta 😊 hope the sun wins and you get a glorious day!
Islander, very wise! We can only achieve a healthy balance if we listen to our bodies 😊
I'm looking forward to seeing the jumpers progress next week Dove! 😉
The cats and I just watched gardener's world.... Perfect start to the weekend! 😁

Morning all/afties, evening Pat. Hope you're both ok
Vile day yesterday here, blustery wind all day, never stopped raining, with hail at night, but I do believe there's a tiny bit of clear sky appearing. The birds will be glad of that too.
Congrats again BL. Have you got a very large calendar for all the birthdays?  :D
Good stuff Wonks. Hope it turns out really well for you. That life/work thing is what it's about. If you can do it, you'll both benefit.  :)
Must have a better look round now, with some more tea, and see what's what.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

Good morning.   Grey here, wet and mildly windy.   The wet is welcome while I still have painting to do.  Radiator covers start today.   Ho hum.

Hope you get some rain Pat and Glenys.  Hope your weather calms down Islander.

Wonky - sounds good.  The key is to pace yourself so you don't get weak.   No sick pay for the self-employed!   Loads more fun tho being able to decide your own hours and rates.

Have a lovely day everyone, even if it's not gardening.

I'm not gardening today, aching all over after yesterday's efforts in the veg garden. Manure and wet compost are very heavy! There is a lot of clearing up still to do and the 4th bed to make but the purple sprouting broccoli is in the way. I also want to make a herb bed in the middle and do something about the bits I walk on between the beds.

I’m home 😀. Landed at 6, home at 7.30, straight to bed for a few more hours sleep.  Time to get up now, in an attempt to thwart the jet lag.  Going to go and do some gentle weeding to keep me awake and out of mischief.

Good luck with the new ventures Wonky.  Big congratulations on your new grandson Lizzie 👶🏼, and amazing progress in the veg plot 👍🏻.  Forgotten everything else .....think my brain is still halfway over the Atlantic.....hope it catches up with me soon 🤔

Still miserable here. Minstrel has checked every single door and window for dry weather but has now given up and flopped on the back of the sofa.   I am learning to dislike radiator covers.  Flipping hard to paint all the decorative holes!   One and a half to do before I get cleaned up for going dancing this evening.

Glad you're home safely Chicky.  Always worse flying east than west, I find.   Excellent progress BL.   A well deserved rest today then.
