Sorry AllotmentBoy, I meant Saturday. Yesterday seems to have passed in a haze.

A polycarbonate pane has blown out of the roof of the greenhouse and the boiler keeps stopping, engineer coming tomorrow. Also whenever I went out to garden I got rained on and when I came in to do housework the sun came out. What with the Doc this morning it's been a bit of a frustrating sort of day.

You sound a bit discombobulated @Busy-Lizzie ((hugs))

Thanks, Dove. But no cake, trying to lose some weight. Maybe that's the problem!

I’m awake earlier than usual. We were woken at 7am by a very loud thunderclap right over the house. 😳. It’s still grumbling away, but not as loud. I wonder if we will get some rain.

Hurrah, it’s ☔️ raining. Hubby is in the kitchen boiling the jug for the Thermos flask in case we lose power.  Can’t face a day without my cuppa tea.😏. Looks like an inside day.

Well that was useful. There is only half a mil in the rain gauge. 😡 All that huff and puff for nothing. Hubby says there’s more on the way, but I’m doubtful that we’ll see any more.Still, it’s much cooler this morning, so it’s not all bad.

Hope you got a few more droplets Pat💧  💧  💧

Back feels much better today 😄😄😄.  Thanks for all the nice thoughts - I’m convinced it speeded the healing process 👍🏻

The willow trees I see out of the window at work have taken on a fresh green tinge ......a very hopeful sign of the moment.  I made the mistake of excitedly pointing this out to my fellow workers .....who declared me crazy, and went back to studying their spreadsheets/creating their powerpoints.  I don’t think its me who’s the crazy one 😝 🤪😜. Funny how the seasons just pass some folks by 🙄🤔
