We've had loads of rain too - well at least it lasted a long time but I don't know if it will amount to much.  Welcome anyway.

Hope the visit goes well BL.  Yesterday's confit was in the mash, not under it like cottage pie.   We can get Chinese pancakes and other Asian ingredients - but not Indian breads - in a big shop in Nantes or a smaller Vietnamese one in La Roche so I treated Possum to a whole duck roast Chinese style at Xmas - like the ones they do in Chinatown in London.  Yum.   Otherwise I just use duck breasts like they do in Belgian Chinese restaurants.

Have a good flight Chicky.  Have you ginger, lemon and honey ready to imbibe when you get home?  Ward off all the plane bugs?

Thanks for all the comments on fibromyalgia.  My friend is computer phobic now she's retired. Says she had too much of them at work in Paris so I shall look for her and see if I can give her some pointers about managing and also questioning in case it is something else.

Very dull here so I shall just do undercoats today.   Should be brighter and sunnier tomorrow.   Hope it dries up for you too.

Messy here.  Been putting "product" on the oak wardrobe to clean and lighten it.  Next job is to scrub it all off.   Joy.

Hope he’s learned to leave labels where he finds them 😝

lol, I did say " leave any labels EXACTLY where you find them, even if you think it's in the wrong place. I'll deal with them later"

Tomorrow is indeed a new day, hopefully a better one, and that's all we can ever hope for when times are rough, islander  :)
Rain eventually went off here so I got a quick few miles in round the doors, but other than that, painting for me too, and a drive with daughter,  and some supermarche shopping. I succumbed to the little reduced pots of hyacinths. Well - it would have been rude no to...
With my 10% off, it meant 12 bulbs for about 3 quid. I'll find a couple of pots for them for future years. My new Carnegie ones, bought in autumn,  are only an inch out the compost at the moment.
Your wee primulas are much further on than mine, Hosta - despite their drookit site  :D

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

Been raining on and off all day.
The house viewers said the house was lovely and asked about a second viewing as Granny couldn't come today, Grandad liked it. The young couple want to run a business and a holiday let so they say they have a lot of thinking to do. They are French.

Definitely fingers crossed for you BL.

Radiator painting and wardrobe feeding for me, after giving it a good clean.  It's now a lighter shade of oak and gleaming.  It'l be calmer tomorrow when I wipe off the excess oil.   Did a splodge of raspberry on the feature wall.  Ooh err!  Not subtle.

Hope you have a better day tomorrow Islander.
