Can’t remember the name of the programme, but one had a girl with a flower on her dress that she made wishes come true by saying “Izzy wizzy let’s get busy” ......not sure where I dredged that memory up from 🤪

On a train back from Nottingham - after a very lovely day 🥰

Wasn't "Izzy wizzy lets get busy" from Sooty?

I seem to remember Bill and Ben the flowerpot men, and also Andy Pandy.

Gosh, I used to run a Tufty Club when I was a student at college. It was all about road safety for little ones and I used to go round to primary schools and talk to the children.
I remember Bill and Ben and Andy Pandy too.

The Woodentops 💗. I grew up on a farm ... I thought it was about my family 😆

Friends moved into our village ... the house had the rather prosaic name of ‘West View’ so they told their young sons to think of a new name for their new home  ... nearly 30 years later the house is still called ...

    Willo the Wisp    😊

We loved Willo the Wisp in this family.  The concept of an evil witch which was a TV (Evil Edna), and a fat fairy called Mavis, was fab... especially voiced by the inimitable Kenneth Williams.   :)

Evening. Just reading through your memories of the children’s programmes. I loved Bagpuss and Bod (top ear worm theme tune).
    Right, time for bed (zebedee).
Take care in the storm all.

You’re right Fidget - that phrase was Sooty.  Just had to google the one I was thinking about .....it was Bizzy Lizzie and little Mo ......quite apt for Forkers really 😀😀😀
