    The cox who decided that only one lifeboat volunteer per family would go, must have known what they were heading into, but they went out anyway.
    Trevelyan Richards. I was living in Cornwall then, at school. It's one of those moments that get burned onto memory - when the Falmouth coast guard was on the radio and it just went dead. Unutterable tragedy. 

    That's a very fine tribute to life cut so short, @Busy-Lizzie

    Mary Mungo and Midge did live in a tower block @Manc_Debi. . The mouse would sit on the dog's nose to push the button for the lift. 

    Crystal Tipps had bonkers hair. Willo the Wisp was hilarious. As was Dangermouse. Ludwig was just very very strange.

    I always sign out, so am used to signing in every day. But for a couple of days it's not let me in. I could sign in to the GW website, just not the forum. The tech team said there was a glitch and as I now can get here again, I guess it's solved  :)
