@D0rdogne_Damsel Sorry that you have been having such a hard time with your health of late. I hope you and your business have a thriving and splendid year. I'd love to visit one day.
Thank you for your good wishes @Fire, for someone not used to being ill it is all very frustrating, I suppose I should be grateful it doesn't happen often.
Luckily, I have a great team behind me so I am able to take the time of needed. Expensive, but necessary and the business is running smoothly without me.
A visit from a forum member would be most welcome, one lady has already made it (she does live in France though) and I have met a couple of other members too, really makes the chatting online more 'real'.

Yes, @Fire, when I first arrived in France, about 7 years ago now, had a huge garden, lots of well stocked flowerbeds, but all getting away with themselves, started off posting a lot of I.D. threads and have been here ever since. Two gardens now, home and the Tearooms and I just wish I had more time to invest in both.

I think I'm that lady that @D0rdogne_Damsel referred to @Fire. We met through this forum but I lived nearly an hour away and now that I've moved house it's further. OH and I went for lunch soon after the restaurant opened. We both opened our gardens for the sort of NGS in France, Open Gardens EU, so we'd meet at the meetings.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
If folk are likely to be wakeful during the night because of Storm Eunice, it might be an idea to bookmark this thread now so we can keep each other company and share mugs of cocoa and biscuits while the wind is whistling down the chimney and the branches are thrashing about outside … ☕️ 🍪 stay safe everyone …
