That appalling @rowlandscastle444 so I suppose you will have to do it all again to satisfy the neurologist
  • Yes.
    But something to smile at.
While using their facilities, my stick slowly slid down the wall, yanking at the emergency cord as it went. It pulled it just enough to set off the alarm.

That is really bad @rowlandscastle444 I am sorry. Let your neurologist know what happened today. I think he should get in touch with the hospital himself and arrange another appointment.
Hope you get a decent night's sleep.

04.11 still wide awake with heart burn. Too much garlic in the garlic butter for my home made garlic bread last night.
  • Another insomniac. Sorry that you are sleepless, @arossrob

Another one who had self-inflicted disturbance here … a slight over indulgence in the mussels 😒

Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.

As I had such a bad night the night before, I was nodding by 7pm last night but managed to stay up till 10pm. I know if I let myself sleep before then it will be early hours when I wake, the worse of all situations. So after reading a while, my slow everything down to sleep routine, I slept for five hours, woke, then slept again for two. Not the way I would like to be able to get a good night's sleep,  but I'll take it!
  • the past few nights I have slept like a baby which is a rare occurance for me !

Sat up till 11.30 last night, watching a film I wasn’t sure if I had seen before. By the time I confirmed that I had seen it before, I was well into it. And despite having seen it, I couldn’t remember what happened next, so I watched till the end, and enjoyed it!
Good result though, apart from coming to long enough to shift off from my painful hip, I slept till 8.30.
I am so tempted to buy a memory foam mattress topper, to see if I can lie on my preferred, but sore, side. Very hard to find decent, unbiased reviews. I’m reluctant to take up the offer of a steroid injection, but I do sleep so much better on the affected side.
