Slate roofs become sparkly silver lakes. Moon isn't as big as 8n the evening but boy it's bright, my room is totally lit.

Good morning all. Wide awake. Might do an online jigsaw to pass the time.
.mackerel sky here. The moon has a rainbow   coloured corona. Street side of the house so unfortunately it's bright out there anyway.

Hello Night Hawkers. Very jealous here as full cloud so no full moon to be seen, missed the last one too. Doing my normal sleep pattern of one and half to two hours asleep followed by three or four hours awake ...... repeat until morning. Very annoying but such is life just now. Having a cuppa and watching the news about the awful storm in Florida, so much damage.
By the by, do any of you folk remember a late night TV film series (American) called the Night Hawk - about a guy who did a late night chat type of programme daily from midnight through to the wee small hours of the morning. He chatted, played records and managed to do some 'good works' along the way? I think it was an actor called Gary Cole who starred in it? I remember enjoying it at the time.
Well I hope some of you have managed to get back to sleep by now, I'm off to wander around on here for a bit.

From our bedroom just now … pretty low in the sky now but still bright.

Thanks @Gardengirl.. 😊 it’s shining directly onto our pillows … we could shut the blinds but it seems a shame to shut it out … we’ll try to get back to sleep, bathed in moonlight …
