    I don't think a storm in the UK would be significant enough to make world news. Unless Big Ben fell over or some such.

    Petropolis .........devastating from the sounds of it.........one of the poorest areas of the city decimated and with great loss of life.  The BBC World Service reported that it is now being classed as recovery rather than rescue.  That was at 4 am UK time.

    They reported finding one person alive on the tv today. Amazing. At least they are still trying to find people.

    Well I'm laid in a bed in hospital after waking at 4am , nothing to do , going stir crazy and missing my garden badly
