It's a while since I have had this bad a week. I do think the changing season sets mine off. It's been dull and getting dark early, that's always a bad sign. I take vitamin D to help , but Dr has put me on Ad-Cal for my bones which is a lower dose of vit D so will be speaking to her on Tuesday about how to up it.
Sorry @rowlandscastle444. I took half a pill last night so I got 6 hours uninterrupted. The pillow is good. Tonight I won't take the sleeping pill so I will be able to judge its usefulness better. I have 2 GPs (it's possible here). One doesn't care at all that I can't sleep because those pills are addictive. The other one says that years of bad sleep for whatever reason may cause the heart and other vitals to weaken because the body doesn't get the proper rest. So this second medic does prescribe them to me but I take half of the dose and only when I am at the end of my tether.
@coccinella At least you got some uninterrupted sleep, although it's not good that you get to the point where you feel you HAVE to take it.
I hope matters are improved tonight.
I have an "emergency" tablet for my epilepsy, but I've found it makes me unsteady for a few days now, so I try not to take one anymore. Hospital was carrying out tests three years ago, and messed up my medication in the process. Even my neurologist was furious!!
Interesting about the GP situation. That must lead to contradictory advice sometimes.
Went to bed 10 o'clock Thursday night went straight to sleep but woke at 0313 then couldn't get back to sleep up at 5 for work at 6 worked 12 hours home did my jobs at home and in bed 2030 last night but awake at 2357 and now very tired working another 12 hours
Well the night was 💩 but the new pillow seems good. Got up without much neck pain. On the plus side two young strong fellas arrived at 7.45! and are working in the garden pruning trees and the yew hedge.
