    In London. Keen but lazy.
  • Did go back to slep. Briefly. Now after 5am.
    Sigh!

I am sipping a cup of tea. Care to join me? It's 6 o'clock here, no way I'm going to sleep now.

Morning all. Been awake since 5.30, but I’ve been obsessively checking the train sites since  to see if there are any disruptions. Back to Devon today, after visit to grandsons. I’ll get up shortly, and finish packing. Will be good to get home to my own bed.

Oh dear!  I was awake at 3.26am.  Podcasts for an hour and a half then tried to relax into the mood!!  I daren't light up my screen during the night as it would make me more wide awake that what I actually am.  I think I dozed off for a bit, but not that deep early morning slumber.  Oh well.  An autumnal day here, low atmosphere, grey, wind but not a drop of rain.
A good hoeing is worth two waterings.

  • I went back to sleep 🙏
just woken and been given a coffee ☕️

  • One of my favourites @rowlandscastle444. Lucky for you it's Sunday! I'm going to be singing it all day now.
  • Another night beckons. Had walks at Wakehurst Place and Ardingly reservoir today. Hoping that'll done some good.
  • It's about 20 mins past midnight, and we've got a thunderstorm here on holiday. I've just realised that I left the TV aerial plugged in at home, and there is no-one at home to unplug the aerial from the wall. Not a lot we can do, except hope and pray that our aerial doesn't get a lightning strike.
