    A balmy 14 !!  You're practically living a midsummer's day!!

A good hoeing is worth two waterings.

19C here, dark clouds and thunder … we’ve had a shower of rain … I think they’ve got more over to the west of the county where son arrived last night to camp at a small music festival run by friends of his … it seems their weekend is going to be the only wet one of the summer 🙄

Sorry to hear you all had a restless night. Didn't get to sleep till after one, but awake at 7am, that's a good night for me. Woke to drizzle here after a muggy night.

The earlier that I go to bed, because I'm tired, the more I wake in the wee small hours, buzzing and raring to go again. It's 2.56 and pitch dark so far to early to go outside and potter.

I know what you mean. A few weeks ago, if l woke up at 4am l knew it was light enough to go outside and garden if l wanted to. I'm conscious of Autumn arriving now.

Love it AnniD. My daughter thinks I need certifying as it is, if I bought one of those for gardening she'd hot foot it up from Derbyshire to sort me out.
