Well Thatcher reckoned that's all she needed. Imagine what she could have 'achieved ' if she got the full 8 hours.

@Nanny Beach our youngest boy had a sleep disorder and he was nearly 3 before he slept longer than 1 hour or wasn't hurting himself. It's 3 years ago but it's left my sleep pattern in a real mess and I'm often awake for 3 hours at time, this was very much the sleep pattern we had of 1 hour sleeping and 3 hours not. He sleeps fine now 😴😴

None of my kids slept through the night at 6 weeks, my oldest son was 3, he just used to get up go into the lounge, lights on etc, I would ask what he was doing, playing he said!!  I ened up breast feeding my youngest son till 15 months, because It was the only thing that worked, I was back at work when they were 3 months old, (days) so tired with youngest son, I
    hallucinated

Is there anybody there?  :D Getting silly sleep pattern forming. Drizzly days means I've not been out a lot in the garden, which means I'm not tired enough to go to bed, which means I miss the next morning, don't do much in the garden and can't sleep.  :/

@GemmaJF I'm awake but shouldn't be, work in the morning!  Terrible weather here, stormy Sunday, windy yesterday, drizzly rest of the week.  I have plants to plant, and am sorting out my pond.  Am back at work but wish I wasn't...

Oh dear folks ... hope you got some good quality sleep eventually. 😊

Pants sleep for me too, a very late text message from a customer with loads of questions put me on edge 😟😟 (I can't do anything on the job as the materials I need currently don't exist). Spent most of the night fitting iron oak veneer trim to some boards for a home project, a very slow but somehow satisfying job 😀
