Reminder to self, next time we move, I’ll have to insist that we don’t plan to exchange contracts on a Friday! So sorry you are going to have a weekend to worry over, instead of being able to breathe a sigh of relief. Been there, done that, dreading the next time we have to move, which ought to be soon, the garden and lack of public transport will be our downfall before much longer.

  • Watched my OH snooze whilst watching (or rather, not watching) TV this evening. Finally had to wake her up, so she could retire to bed, to sleep.
    Tired girl!!

Bed at 10.30 shattered, we both caught a chest infection earlier this week, still suffering but improving. Did sleep but awoke and up at 12.30 back to bed 1am . Slept 2 hours woke at3am famished so up had a bowl of cereal which I couldn’t taste as sense of taste impaired. Now 3.30am too tired to read,  too awake to try to go back to bed. Every sympathy to all fellow sufferers, at least I’ve nothing spoiling if I’m like a zombie later in the day

Morning fellow suffers! Said puppy is now sleeping through the night. (We've had a few daily mishaps, but they have been on a puppy pad. She only encountered rain a couple of weeks ago, and she freaked out. I put her out last Thursday when we had the storm, got partway down the garden (she has a special spot near the rotary airer) gust of wind, she flew inside, never seen anything move so quick! Last couple of days, has been heavy rain and yesterday hail stones. I get up early, just mooch about, too breathless for anything else.
  • Good evening. Maybe even good night to some.
Have been packing more boxes. Piling them up in our utility area at the rear of the house. Books, books, books!! One of the first DIY jobs my wife has planned for me in the new place will be to measure for bookshelves, and install some.
Anyhow, now is the time to be thinking of zzz!
    Wishing you a restful night.

Don't forget to take plenty of photos of your books in situ before you box them away @rowlandscastle444. My OH did this so he knew the exact order and which shelf they went on in new house. Talk about being organised🙄

Hi. I do have plenty of photos of the books, but I hadn't thought of using them for that purpose.
However, that's a great idea. Thank you.
Postcard albums are numbered 1 to XX. Postcards, photos and prints are numbered 01-0001 to xx-xxxx. My wife despairs!! Everything is logged and recorded on computer database.
