  • Left the hospital in patient transport, enroute to home, and a tired wife, I expect.
    Should be home before midnight!!
  • Safe journey @rowlandscastle444 … hope both of you have a restful night eventually.

Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.

  • I really hadn't expected them to send me out so late. But, my bed is more comfortable than a hospital one.
  • That is true, @rowlandscastle444 and you will rest better in your own bed, so will the wife, we do worry when you hubby's are out of our sight.😉
  • 😊
  • For the first time in my life I have sciatica.  3 hours sleep, now pacing round the lounge trying to get on top of the pain...

Hope you are now safely home and tucked up in your own bed @rowlandscastle444, try to get some extra rest today if possible.

My sympathy @Liriodendron, not nice at all. Do you know what has caused it? Hopefully the sciatic spasm will release itself soon.

Off to noodle around on here before returning back to my bed in the hope of a couple of hours snooze before morning.
  • Thanks @AnnaB.  No idea what caused it - I was just standing still, making a shopping list, when it grabbed me.

Hope your noodle around on here has made you sleepy!

Woken up after a weird dream, and trying to clear it from my head. Hip with bursitis is playing up too, so hard to get comfortable. However I’m sure I’ll nod off again in a bit.  Sorry to hear about the sciatica, @Liriodendron. Hope that eases off.
Not at all surprised you got sent home at a silly time of night, @rowlandscastle444. I would have been surprised if anyone had checked that there would be someone at home to look after you, or that you had a key to get in, that sort of thing!
  • @Ergates
They didn't know I had a key, but they did know that there would be someone to receive me - although that 'someone' was bleary-eyed. And I have to go back on Tuesday.
No lie-in. We have attached neighbours. For three more weeks. Then we'll have a lot of cardboard boxes. 😊
Any improvement in the bursitis pain, this morning?
Sorry to hear about the sciatica, @Liriodendron .  How do you deal with it? My Mum doesn't talk about hers, but I know she has it.
