Hello everyone. Glad there is a thread for us sleep dodgers.
I was out in the garden at 4 this morning (we are one hour ahead of the UK) with beanie and jacket on. Yes it is dark, high risk of tripping around the hose.
It started raining, so I had to go and get the moth trap in because there is no cover for it. Potted 60 or so moths for identification later in the morning when there is some light, went dizzy and clammy, had a drink, going back to bed now. I had to contend with the ginger whinger who thinks that batting moths is helping me. They are starting to demolish the house next door. He bought me another ( dead) rat as a present. I gave him some biscuits and put it by the fox runs for their dinner.
Went to bed at 10.30pm woken at 11.16 pm by the heaviest rain which once again lasted 20 minutes and was gone leaving me a member of the wide awake club.... Going back to my teenage years with that one if anyone remembers Timmy Mallet 🤣
I was woken around midnight the night before last by really bright lightning and rumbles of thunder, followed by a torrential downpour for 15 minutes or so. Last night (this morning), l was woken around 5.30am by more heavy rain. Should have posted at the time l suppose, but l was too busy rejoicing
My brain keeps wanting to think about our drive down to Devon and Cornwall in just over two weeks … done it loads of times and got the satnav on my phone, so nothing to stress about so why doesn’t my brain want to sleep 🙄
