Rain has flattened the pinks and lavenders, but where the lavenders seem to have sorted themselves out, 2 of the pinks have split in the middle of the clumps and collapsed. They are a few years old and l have taken cuttings so l am fairly philosophical about it.  Cut back the sections that had collapsed onto the lawn and cut the flowers off for a vase. The perfume is lovely.
Also cut back hardy geraniums, deadheaded salvias and did some weeding .

Mixed up some more mortar and put another layer on the side of the path and my new green bin area. Started trying to dig out the dead roots of the bamboo in the stone trough - very hard work. Had a rest, then used some ready-mix concrete to fill in a pothole but not sure I've got enough to finish the job, it was deeper than I expected.

Won a pair of gloves from GW Magazine.

Just worn them to wipe greenflies of my son’s peppers and spray with washing up liquid.  Also did some watering.

Got a lily in flower :)

It's been stopped @GWRS until at least end of July. It may not come back. It happened while you were away.
