Lottie clothes on and with note book in hand I opened the front door and God was emptying her bath again !!

The irony is I am half way through building my pond and its too full up with water to work on.

    So not today

Got loads done today, began the tidy up of an area where 2 very large conifers were removed yesterday. Mind you it doesn't look much better I think it will take a while to get it fit for replanting.  Also removed lots of dead vegetation and pruned half of my roses.  Still loads to be done but feel like we have made a good start.

No chance of gardening here at the moment, rain every day and the garden is too boggy. Haute-Garonne.

It was nice to sit out in the sun for a short while on Monday even if it turned icy whenever a cloud passed.

Too much to do, and a lot of winter prep I should have done but didn’t is making it hard to get the ball rolling again.

My lavender plugs from last year have come along nicely about 3 or 4 inches high now, I should be able to start my hedge soon with a bit of rearranging and weeding.

I did some late cutting down of raspberries and some shredding. Polka raspberry already have flowers on, so I left a few for an early crop.

Cleared up lots of last year's dead and dying plants and weeded a bit.  Then the real fun, emptied one of the daleks and spread the contents on the soft fruit border.

Yesterday cut down the old growth on one clump of Japanese anemones then it started raining.  Earlier hubby started to prune the roses, there's a lot to do so he'll do a few at a time.
