@GemmaJF look on gumtree for a greenhouse sometime people give them away for free if you can take it down yourself or know someone who can help if you are thinking of getting one - I did it that way for allotment plot just need to build it up there after getting the area ready
Bit of strimming done later at plot around

Good thinking, the problems more of where to put it though! I'm doing a patio and there will be a big open space, though it is supposed to be a family area. At the moment I'm thinking of keeping it that way until my son moves out, then perhaps later putting a greenhouse there.

Oh no, it's raining again! All ready to pot up my tomatoes and stopped at the back door.
Just having a coffee whilst I wait to see what it's going to do. I suppose I could always put the sun umbrella up over the table and repot under there. Poor tomatoes are bursting out of their too small pots.

Just a tiny bit of gardening. Managed to do the things planned for yesterday in between drizzly showers. Dug up last of the new potatoes, lovely haul it was too and will easily last the week.  :)

Picked lettuce and radish, french beans and couple of courgettes, sorted out tomatoes that had side-shoots I had neglected. Still feels better to have been outside, even if it was for only about an hour. Got a shock when went in potting shed, it was actually tidy from yesterday and I could walk in there without tripping over.  :D

Was expecting it to be windy again,  so the fact that it wasn't was a pleasant surprise.
OH brought home 2 hostas (one in a massive pot) from his mother's garden. The smaller one was totally dead, but l managed to divide the larger one into 3 smaller pots. The rest of it was past saving.
Emptied a large pot that contained a very dead looking clematis,  no "green wood" at all, although the root system looked okay. Still, another planting opportunity.
Also cut down another potted clematis that l think has succumbed to the dreaded wilt. Flowering away just a couple of days ago, then the whole plant just collapsed. Shame, it's a very pretty one called "Vicki". Hopefully it will come back.
Moved a polemonium and replaced it with a Gaura "Ruby ruby", also did deadheading and watering in front and back gardens.

Finally got my tomatoes repotted. I've put all five in my tiny lean to greenhouse 4'x 2' on the floor which is probably going to be a mistake, but it has been so windy here lately, I thought I'd try keeping them inside. Actually got one very small tomato on the biggest plant. Picked another 1.5 lb gooseberries which I'll freeze for later. I grow these in a double cordon 'U' shape in front of a fence, much easier to pick like that and makes use of a very small space.

Started to paint the fence black. Fence panels are a right pain in the arse to paint 😠
I’ve no idea what I’m doing.

@London_to_Latimer great choice of black fence 👍 Weeding and dead heading have been my jobs in the main. Have sown my 3rd tray of green candelabra primula seeds, my 1st time trying so see how it goes. Sown aqueligia, pricked out dill and more foxgloves. Added more waste to the compost, the FIL is collecting all from his cul-de-sac which is slightly potty and delivering sack fulls of the stuff. Need some mulch from my tree surgeon to balance all the green grass.
